Implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 with IS-Retail in a Retail Food and Grocery Business in Malaysia which enabled different banners to operate in a single unified system. Legacy system was an older version of SAP IS-Retail and was specific to one country/banner only.
Greenfield implementation of all core modules of S/4 HANA 1610 with consultants focused on Supply Chain functional areas. Subsequent upgrade to later version pursued for additional functionality. A re-design of overall company structure was required resulting to a re-design of business processes and system landscapes. Interfaces to back-end systems (POS, supplier portals, centralized ordering) developed to consolidate information into a single source of truth.
Process were improved and to optimize S/4 HANA 1610 through the “Continuous Improvement Program” such as MM Subcontracting, GR/IR reconciliation, Material Master Review and Cleanup, Payable automation and Customs Releasing. The initiative enabled the business to recognize the real potential of an ERP system to positively affect their day-to-day tasks and to provide the visibility of business data needed for fast and intelligent decision making.
