SAP BTP Consultant

• Demonstrated experience delivering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) applications using cloud-native programming models, with real-world project deployments in production environments.

• Proficient in SAP Fiori front-end development and in server-side development using Node.js or CDS-based modeling within the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining applications using CAP, or RAP, including integration with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Ariba.

• Experienced in creating and extending enterprise-grade applications using a mix of JavaScript, ABAP RAP, and SAP LCNC tools SAP Build Apps and SAP Build Process Automation.

• Strong background in secure application deployment, with production experience on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS).

• Capable of designing end-to-end BTP architecture, including service selection, integration patterns, and security models, aligned with SAP’s clean core and side-by-side extensibility principles.

• Provides technical leadership in shaping solution architecture, preparing design documents, and presenting technical proposals directly to customers or stakeholders.

• Ability to configure and use BTP services like Destinations, Document Management Service (DMS), and integration with OData/REST APIs.

• Knowledgeable with SAP AI services, including building AI-enabled scenarios using SAP AI Foundation, and integrating SAP Joule.

• Applies software engineering best practices through structured code reviews, technical mentorship, and enforcement of quality and coding standards within the team.

• Comfortable working in agile delivery environments, participating in collaboration across teams, iterative development, and continuous delivery practices.
