We're actively seeking a project manager to take charge of overseeing, organizing, and ensuring the smooth flow of project procedures, guiding them from development to solution implementation.
What you'll be doing
- The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of large projects in SAP portfolio defining and managing scope, budget, timelines and quality, with full responsibility and authority to complete the assigned project using traditional and agile methodologies.
- Responsible for planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, specifications development, project planning, project monitoring, and project status reporting.
- Maintain project plans, anticipates, mitigate and handle project risks and ensure project timelines and budgets.
- Lead project teams consisting of multi-functional, global, and virtual groups and directly supervise staff, ensuring the appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools, and responsibilities are in place to deliver the plan and deliver excellence.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as the Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, System Demos, and Iteration Retrospective.
- Defines project scope and leads the development, documentation, and implementation of large scale projects and change initiatives in line with organizational policies and strategies, defining and maintaining realistic project plans and supervising progress against agreed quality and performance criteria in both traditional and Agile methodologies.
- Facilitates requirements gathering sessions and documents functional requirements/specifications to capture business needs and validates and acquires sign-off from business representatives.
- Develops positive relationships across the business to facilitate open dialogue and identify the communication needs of each interested party, ensuring engagement and acquiring formal agreement from relevant parties on scope, requirements and delivery.
- Present formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates.
- Collaborate with Delivery leads and create sound governance & decision support.
- Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Provide project leadership, work direction and feedback.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of related work experience in increasing levels of responsibility including project management and/or support.
- 1 – 2 SAP Project Implementation Experience
- Background in Agile or Waterfall implementation methodology
- Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project Application
- Strong analytical, research and organizational skills
- Ability to articulate and relay information in an effective and efficient manner
